DON’T CAUSE A PARADOX is a puzzle game with the element of time travel in the mix. The main game mode of the finished product would be a linear story across multiple levels, of which the player must beat in order to progress. The game would introduce features to the player over the course of each level, with the first being a simple puzzle of moving power cells, with the later involving the usage of time-shifting to send required resources back or forwards in time, to then be used to solve the puzzle. The time shifting mechanic makes up the majority of the puzzles, with each puzzle involving a requiring the player to think in two dimensions to solve a problem; the present, and the past. Sending items to the past will allow them to be used upon a restart of the loop, but will cause a paradox if the player isn’t careful.
