Week 1
This first week of development we have done a lot of work, this includes implementing movement and testing art styles as well as having our first few models mocked up.
Mechanics
The movement will be grid based with a Topdown view, it will be achieved with mouse clicks, the player character will be moved to whichever square is closest to where the player clicks. the levels are to be designed similar to as shown below:
Art
The art style is not in its final stages however we have several models mocked up and a few pieces of concept art that we have looked at to influence which way we lean. The currently in progress models are shown below:
A Fedorable Agent
- the player character is a time agent who is sent to investigate an ancient temple which is giving off strange signals, they still need to be textured and the model also needs revisions.
The triangle door and key
this is a door that can only be opened with a key, the key is to be used up when used on a door.
Dont Cause a Paradox
DON’T CAUSE A PARADOX is a puzzle game with the element of time travel in the mix
